Meador Staffing Services produces a quarterly newsletter specifically for our employees called The Milestone. Articles include information to enhance careers, as well as good news about our employees.
Holiday Bonus
After working 1,500 hours of straight time within a 12-month period, you are entitled to six paid holidays, providing that you work the full day before and full day after the holiday. Any break of 30 calendar days or more will disqualify holiday pay and hours will begin accumulating once you return to work. The holidays Meador Staffing Services observe are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Office Automation Training
We are pleased to offer our employees a special opportunity for upgrading skills on selected office software. This self-study program is administered by the Staffing Consultants on a space-available basis.
401(k)
A 401 (k) is a savings program sponsored by an employer for employees. It allows employees to defer paying income tax on a portion of their wages that they contribute to the plan. Meador Staffing Services provides their employees with a 401 (k) which is offered through Great-West Life Annuity Insurance Company. Any employee is eligible to participate in this program after one year of employment, provided they have worked 1,000 hours by January 1 or July 1 of each year.
Vacation Bonus
Employees are entitled to one week (40 hours) paid vacation based on your current hourly pay rate. You, the employee, must work 1500 hours of straight time in the previous 12 months to be eligible for vacation pay. Vacation may be taken in four-hour increments and no more than 40 hours per earning period. Any break of 30 calendar days or more will disqualify vacation pay and hours will begin accumulating once you return to work.
Client Referral Bonuses
Should a Meador Staffing temporary employee refer a client company to Meador Staffing Services and use 40 hours of billable service, we will pay a cash bonus. There is no limit to the amount of referral bonuses our employees may receive.
Employee Referral Bonuses
Good employees are one of the reasons for our success. When our employees refer other qualified candidates to Meador Staffing Services, they may be entitled to a referral bonus payable after the new employee has completed his/her first 40 hours with the company. The opportunities to receive referral bonuses are limitless.
Local Paychecks
Employees may pick up their paychecks at their assigned offices every Wednesday or receive their checks at home via mail service. Paychecks are processed locally at our office in Pasadena and are drawn on a local bank. For convenience, Direct Deposit is also offered to our employees.
Christmas Club
Plan ahead for the holiday season! This savings plan allows our employees to have money deducted from their paycheck and placed in a special non-interest account. The money comes in a lump-sum payout the first week of December - just in time to enjoy the holiday season.
