How much will it cost my company?

The cost to you will vary based on several factors including account volume, workers’ comp costs, and lead time for our staffing managers. Meador is committed to providing quality employees to your company at a competitive price.

What is the process for finding employees through Meador Staffing Services?

Our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately from the moment we are engaged in your hiring process. We begin by spending adequate time to make sure we clearly understand the details of the position and your expectations for the professional joining your team. This will enable us to send the most qualified candidates to you for consideration and make sure that we are able to meet your important deadlines.

How long will it take to have an employee in our company?

There is not an exact answer for this question. The timeframe for successfully finding an employee for you is going to vary based on our current employee base and the specific need of the position and skill set you require. We are committed to sending only the most qualified applicants and will not sacrifice quality. You may decide to look at the most qualified applicants and conduct an interview, or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.

What kind of background checks do you provide?

We perform a complete set of references on each applicant, based on the work history they provide. For a fee, Meador can provide various screenings, including drug screens, driving records screens and criminal background checks, and can meet any customized screening needs you request. Or, you may decide to handle them yourself through your usual service providers.

Candidates applying for job opportunities within Meador will be required to go through a background check. We consider candidates with criminal backgrounds based on the nature and gravity of the offense, time passed, and nature of the job in question. Convictions will not necessarily bar a candidate’s employment. Also, candidates may be asked to conduct a drug screen as part of the placement process.

What if I am not satisfied with an employee placed by Meador Staffing Services?

While this does not happen often, we do realize that not every job is a fit for every person, and sometimes that is not clear until the person is working. Our temp-to-hire program provides an opportunity for you to see an employee in the work setting and determine if that employee is a good fit for permanent hire. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace him or her. We also offer direct placement services; our guarantees vary based on the contract for each client and will be communicated with you at the start of any engagement.
