Environmental Specialist for Marine Terminal Facility.

Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to provide administrative and technical support to the Marine Terminal Facility’s environmental department. Will maintain and update the compliance management system to maintain the correct permissions with all federal, state, and local agencies. Will also participate with new product review and Management of Change (MOC) processes.

Duties and responsibilities include interacting with and representing the company to government regulatory agencies at all levels, supporting the administrative staff to ensure compliance of all permits, maintaining records and submitting reports as necessary, assisting with the Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program, and tracking and reporting on all emissions data from the facility. The right candidate for this job will also stay current with all regulation changes and will attend conferences, seminars, courses, meet with consultants, trade associations and keep up with industry publications. You will evaluate all new business and construction plans through the MOC process to determine the environmental impact and viability. You will be the company representative for environmental issues for customer meetings and audits by preparing necessary documents and reports.

The best candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Environmental/ Natural Science (or related) and 2 to 5 years working in the field. This experience should include air quality issues, hazardous waste management, water treatment, and environmental permitting.  You must possess strong analytical and technical skills. You must have experience with environmental software such as EPA Tanks 4, ALOHA, STEERS, RegAction, etc. Candidates must be local.

Shop Boilermaker Helpers Wanted

Deer Park/LaPorte area company has an immediate need for Shop Boilermaker Helpers.  If you are looking for an opportunity to work overtime, then stop your search now!

This company operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week offering two 12 hours shifts. The best candidates will be dependable, hardworking individuals who are looking for a long term employment opportunity. Responsibilities of a Shop Boilermaker Helpers include repairing and making new fabrication heat exchangers of all types and sizes. You will then bundle the tubes, channels, and shells. Qualified employees must be able to operate various machine tools and equipment.

Candidates will need to commit to 12 hours shifts 7 days a week in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. After the first two weeks you will get one day off and after four weeks you will get two days off. Our candidate is looking for one 1st shift and one 2nd shift employee to start immediately.
