HONORS, KEY TO THE CITY, PROCLAMATIONS GIVEN AT MEADOR STAFFING 50TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT

 

Economic Alliance Houston Port Region and Pasadena Chamber of Commerce join Meador Staffing

50th anniversary event honoring five men who contributed to Pasadena, TX history.

 

Pasadena, TX— 10/11/18Ben Meador, CEO/Chairman and Melinda Torrison, President/COO of Meador Staffing host 50th anniversary event at Pasadena Convention Center on October 4th, 2018. The event featured the accomplishments of five men who were central to the history of Pasadena, Texas. John Phelps, Bill Bailey, Don Carpenter, Ben Meador, and John Moon were honored for their regional impact on infrastructure, the economy, transportation, business, as well as community initiatives. Along with 500 guests, the event brought together local elected officials, current and former employees, clients and the families of the honored men.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Economic Alliance Houston Port Region joined Meador Staffing in sourcing event needs only from local vendors, educational facilities, and businesses in an effort to give back to the community.

During the event, October 4th was declared “Meador Staffing Service Day” by proclamation through the Harris County Commissioner-Precinct 2, City of Deer Park, City of LaPorte, and City of Pasadena. A highlight of the event was also a congratulatory letter from Senator Ted Cruz, Certificate of Congressional Recognition with a flag that was flown at the U.S. Capital from U.S. Representative Brian Babin, as well as the key to the city from Jeff Wagner, Mayor of Pasadena.
