Frequently Asked Questions
Let us know if you don’t see an answer to your question below by contacting one of our offices.
The cost to you will vary based on several factors including account volume, workers’ comp costs, and lead time for our staffing managers. Meador is committed to providing quality employees to your company at a competitive price.
Our mission to find your ideal employee begins and ends with forming a true partnership with YOU, our valued client. We believe that the more we know about your company, the better qualified we are to become an extension of it and to seek out the best possible individual(s) for your team. It is important to us that your next hire is a “fit” in every sense of the word – experience, skills, core values – and our Meador team’s partnership with you is the foundation for finding that exceptional person to join your team. Contact us to start that partnership today!
There is not an exact answer to this question. The timeframe for successfully finding an employee for you is going to vary based on our current employee base and the specific need of the position and skill set you require. We are committed to sending only the most qualified applicants and will not sacrifice quality. You may decide to look at the most qualified applicants and conduct an interview, or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.
Each applicant we consider for your team will undergo a nationwide criminal background search. We consider applicants with criminal backgrounds based on the nature and gravity of the offense, time passed, and nature of the job in question. Convictions will not necessarily bar an applicant’s employment. Also, applicants may be asked to conduct a drug screen as part of the placement process.
Our screening process is 100% flexible to meet your needs as a hiring manager – drug screening, reference check feedback, driving records, and specific skills testing are all available upon request. Your Meador team will work with you to put a strategic testing and hiring plan in place.
While this does not happen often, we do realize that not every job is a fit for every person, and sometimes that is not clear until the person is working in the role. Our temp-to-hire program provides an opportunity for you to see an employee in the work setting and determine if that employee is a good fit for permanent hire. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them. We also offer direct placement services; our guarantees vary based on the contract for each client and will be communicated to you at the start of any engagement.
Meador Staffing Services is a full-service staffing company, and we handle positions in all areas of administrative, professional, industrial, engineering, information technology, web and graphic design, accounting and finance, HR, trades, and many more. By having a broad base of applicants, as well as various recruiting resources, we can meet your needs in most areas of your business; just ask us.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our employees, and feel our greatest resource is our past, present, and future employees. The screening process for our applicants allows us to best match their skills and training to the positions you have available in your organization.
If you use Meador Staffing Services’ temp-to-hire program, we maintain the hiring risk instead of you. Here’s why. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace that individual without the burden of cost for a full-time hire on your payroll. Meador invests in our own employees by providing training and certification for all our office staff. We can be a resource to you when questions arise about staffing and employment and provide you with the expertise you need.
Our quality of applicants, impressive list of clients and successes to date throughout the past four decades will provide you with the confidence you need to trust Meador with your hiring needs.
