There is not an exact answer to this question. The timeframe for successfully finding an employee for you is going to vary based on our current employee base and the specific need of the position and skill set you require. We are committed to sending only the most qualified applicants and will not sacrifice quality. You may decide to look at the most qualified applicants and conduct an interview, or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.

Each applicant we consider for your team will undergo a nationwide criminal background search. We consider applicants with criminal backgrounds based on the nature and gravity of the offense, time passed, and nature of the job in question. Convictions will not necessarily bar an applicant’s employment. Also, applicants may be asked to conduct a drug screen as part of the placement process.

Our screening process is 100% flexible to meet your needs as a hiring manager – drug screening, reference check feedback, driving records, and specific skills testing are all available upon request. Your Meador team will work with you to put a strategic testing and hiring plan in place.

While this does not happen often, we do realize that not every job is a fit for every person, and sometimes that is not clear until the person is working in the role. Our temp-to-hire program provides an opportunity for you to see an employee in the work setting and determine if that employee is a good fit for permanent hire. If you are not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them. We also offer direct placement services; our guarantees vary based on the contract for each client and will be communicated to you at the start of any engagement.

Job Seekers

Current job openings and availability change daily. Once you have completed our application process, you will be considered based on the preferences you noted, and the skill sets you possess. We will be in touch as applicable positions are available.

  1. You can begin by applying directly to a job listed or by registering online.
  2. You will then need to come to one of our offices to fill out an application. (some jobs may require additional interviewing options, such as web conferences.)
  3. We will ask you to provide complete work history information, complete and detailed criminal background information, preference of shift, type of work you are seeking and your preferred work location.
  4. Before the application process is behind you, a pre-screener must be completed.
  5. After the application is complete, you will be interviewed by a staffing specialist.
  6. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss what vocational skills you have and what you are looking for in your next position. The staffing manager will discuss not only what specific skills you have, but also find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.
  7. Once you have completed the interview, you may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels for office and professional positions.
  8. Meador also does reference checks with previous employers and other references provided by our applicants. Once this process is completed, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process and the requirements of our open jobs.

Apply Online – Search our job board to find an opportunity that interests you and submit your resume. Schedule an Interview – Once a Meador recruiter has reviewed your resume, you will be contacted via phone to answer a few questions, and schedule an in-person interview. In-Person Interview – Once you have been through our phone screening, you’ll be invited into a Meador office to meet with one of our recruiters. We’ll ask you questions about your work history, education, and career goals, to help determine the best possible fit. Skill Assessment – Before placing you in a position, we may evaluate your skills using one of our computer-based testing programs.

TIP: Be sure you give the most complete and accurate information during your application process. Falsifying information may result in the loss of a great job opportunity.

Not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position, you should feel comfortable to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences, and work hard to ensure a win-win situation for both you and our clients.

We realize not every job is a good fit for you, and sometimes you do not know that until you have tried the position on for size. If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is essential to everyone’s satisfaction.

We expect open communication from our field employees and they can expect the same from Meador.

TIP: Always be sure to communicate with your Meador Staffing contact whenever there is an issue, you need to call out of work, or you will be late for any reason. 

Our services are provided at no fee to applicants.

All of our positions will be posted on our website job board.  Once you have registered with Meador, you will be considered as an active candidate. As we receive job orders from our clients, we will search our candidate database, and contact those who are qualified for open positions.

Regardless of which Meador client you do work for, Meador is your legal employer and you should contact a Meador representative with any work-related issues.

Assignments may range in length from a few hours to an indefinite amount of time.

Be sure to let Meador know when your work assignment has ended so you may be considered for a new assignment.

You must notify Meador Staffing Services immediately if you will be tardy or unable to report to work. We have a 24-hour service, so you can reach us anytime, day or night.

  • Manual/print timecards must be in your Meador office by 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
  • Electronic timecards must submitted and approved by a supervisor online each Friday by 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

TIP: If your timecard arrives late, you will be paid the following week. Be sure to keep track of your hours by following this link.

If an accident occurs and you are injured while on the job, notify your supervisor and Meador immediately! Meador will direct you to the preferred medical facility if medical treatment is needed. An accident report must be completed within 48 hours of the incident. Failure to comply may mean delayed or nonpayment of workers’ compensation benefits.

Benefits are available for purchase by an employee for themselves, employee and spouse, or employee’s family through payroll deduction. Meador also offers vacation and holiday pay, with 401K after a year.
